Server Monitoring

JellyWatch can connect to your infrastructure servers and display their status on the Dashboard.

Supported Server Types

Linux (SSH)

  • Connect via SSH with password or private key authentication.
  • View CPU, RAM, disk usage, and running processes.
  • Monitor the host running your Jellyfin server.

Windows (WinRM)

  • Connect via WinRM protocol.
  • View system metrics and status.
  • Requires WinRM to be enabled on the target Windows machine.

TrueNAS

  • Connect to your TrueNAS instance via its API.
  • Monitor storage pools, datasets, and system health.

Unraid

  • Connect to your Unraid server.
  • Monitor array status, disk health, and Docker containers.

Setup

  1. Add an external service of the appropriate type (Linux, Windows, TrueNAS, or Unraid).
  2. Enter the server URL and credentials.
  3. For Linux servers, optionally paste your SSH private key for key-based auth.

Dashboard Integration

The System Servers dashboard section shows a summary of all connected server systems with:

  • Connection status (healthy/unhealthy)
  • Key metrics (CPU, memory, disk)
  • Quick access to detailed server views
