Requirements
This page describes the TV screens. Your server needs a Live TV source (a tuner or a plugin). If there is none, the app shows No Live TV source is configured on this server. Open the Live TV library in the sidebar (or the Live TV tile on the phone Library tab).
TV Guide
The Guide tab shows channels with their current and upcoming programmes.
- Use the date picker to move to another day. Today and Now jump back to the present.
- Search channels with Search channels….
- Open Filters to show only Movies, Series, Sports, Kids, News, Premieres or Favorites Only. Clear all resets them.
- Select a channel to Watch.
- Select a programme to see its details.
Record
Press and hold OK on a programme in the guide (Hold OK on a program to record it), or use the Record button in its details. Available actions are Watch, Record, Cancel Recording and Stop recording.
- A recording that starts while the programme is airing does not include what already aired (Recording started. The part already aired is not recorded.).
- In the player, a red Record button appears on a live channel. The Record key of a remote also works.
- If your account cannot manage recordings, you see You do not have permission to manage recordings.
Recordings
The Recordings tab lists Recent recordings, Scheduled in the next 24 hours, Series recordings and Scheduled Recordings.
