Google Play (Android TV, Google TV, phone, tablet)
- Open the Google Play Store on your device.
- Search for JellyWatch Player, or open the app page.
- Select Install.
- Launch the app from your app row or home screen.
The same listing installs on TVs, phones and tablets.
Amazon Appstore (Fire TV)
- Open the Amazon Appstore on your Fire TV.
- Search for JellyWatch Player, or open the Amazon page.
- Select Get.
The Fire TV build is a separate build of the same app. It uses Amazon in-app purchasing. It does not include Google Cast, Android Auto or Google sign-in.
First launch
- The app shows a splash screen, then the login screen.
- Enter your server address and account, or use Sign in from JellyWatch app. See Connecting your server.
- After sign-in, you land on the Home screen.
On a phone or tablet the app opens the touch interface. On a TV it opens the remote interface.
Permissions

The voice button is hidden on devices without speech recognition, such as Fire TV.
Updating
Updates come from the store you installed the app from.
