JellyWatch Player

Home Screen

What the JellyWatch Player Home screen shows and how to arrange it.

Overview

Home is the first screen after sign-in. It shows what you are likely to watch next and what is new on your server. On TV it starts with a large featured item and a Play button. On a phone or tablet the featured item is at the top of the list.

Home rows

RowContent
Continue WatchingItems you started and did not finish
Next UpThe next unwatched episode of the series you follow
Available requestsTitles you requested on Seerr that are now in your library. Needs Watch Pass with a request server.
Custom shelvesRows you build yourself from rules (Premium). See Home layout.

By default each row shows up to 20 items. Continue Watching and Next Up can be merged into one row, sorted by last played.

On a phone or tablet the Home screen shows Continue Watching, Next Up, My Libraries and Recently Added in … rows, plus a Recommendations button.

Kids profiles show a simplified Home with large cards and a Continue watching row. See Kids Profile.

Recommendations banner

If you have not turned on Recommendations, a one-time banner on Home offers Enable Recommendations or Not now. It does not come back after you answer.

Remove an item from Continue Watching

On TV, press and hold Select on an item and choose Remove. This clears the saved position. The item stays out of Continue Watching until you watch it again.

Cards and poster badges

Cards show the poster, title, and a progress bar for items in progress. Optional extras:

  • Poster overlays show resolution, audio, rating and parental badges (Premium).
  • Language flags show the audio languages on a poster. See Media details.
  • ClearLogo titles replace the text title with the official logo image when one exists.

Turn these on in Settings → Appearance.

Customising Home

With Premium you can show, hide and reorder rows, change card size, change the number of items per row, choose which libraries appear under Recently Added, and add custom shelves. Without Premium Home keeps its default layout. See Home layout.

Launcher rows (TV)

Continue Watching and Recently Added can also appear on the Android TV home screen. See Launcher channels.
