Overview
JellyWatch Player can download movies and episodes from your server to your phone or tablet, so you can watch them offline. Downloads are free and are available on phone and tablet.
Download a title
- Open a movie or episode.
- Select Download.
- The title is queued and its status goes from Queued to Downloading… to Downloaded. A notification on the Downloads channel shows the progress, with a cancel action.
A downloaded title shows Available offline. Select Play offline to watch it without a connection, or Remove download to delete it.
If a download fails, select Retry.
My Downloads
Open Settings → My Downloads.
- Active Downloads and Completed sections.
- A storage bar with a breakdown by Movies, TV shows, Other and Images.
- Delete for one download, or Delete all (with a confirmation).
- A badge on the Settings row shows how many downloads are active.
Download settings
| Setting | Description |

| Wi-Fi only | Download only on Wi-Fi. Queued items wait until Wi-Fi is available. |
| Storage limit | No limit, or a limit in GB. When the limit is reached, downloads stop (Download storage limit reached. Delete downloads or raise the limit.). |
| Download quality | Original, 1080p (High), 720p (Medium) or 480p (Low). Used only when the server has to transcode. |
On Android 14 and later, downloads run as user-initiated transfers that Android lets finish in the background.
