Jellyseerr & Seerr Integration

Manage media requests end to end: browse, search and discover content, submit requests, approve or decline, change root folders, track issues, and view users and statistics.

Jellyseerr / Seerr

JellyWatch integrates deeply with both Jellyseerr and Seerr. Each service has its own full management screen organized into tabs: Requests, Search, Discover, Users, and Issues.

Both screens work the same way. Seerr is the Plex-oriented variant; Jellyseerr is for Jellyfin and Emby. You can connect both at the same time.

Requests Tab

  • Browse all requests with poster art, requester, media type, and status.
  • Status filters: All, Pending, Approved, Processing, Available, Partially Available, Failed.
  • Approve or decline pending requests directly from the app.
  • Change the root folder of a request before it is processed.
  • Paginated loading for large request lists.

Search Tab

  • Search for any movie or TV show by title (minimum a few characters).
  • Results show poster, media type, and current status (already requested, available, or requestable).
  • Request a title with one tap.
  • For TV shows, pick specific seasons; seasons already available or already requested are shown as unselectable.

Discover Tab

  • Trending: what is popular right now.
  • Movies: discover movies.
  • TV Shows: discover series.
  • Request anything directly from the discover lists.

Users Tab

  • View the Jellyseerr/Seerr users with avatar, role (Admin / User / Guest), request count, and join date.

Issues Tab

  • Filters: Open and Resolved.
  • View reported issues with type (Video, Audio, Subtitle, Other), affected media, and the season/episode in question.
  • Open an issue to read the full comment thread.
  • Add, edit, and delete comments.
  • Change the issue status (e.g. resolve or reopen).
  • Delete an issue.

Setup

Jellyseerr

  1. Add a new external service of type Jellyseerr.
  2. Enter the URL (e.g. https://jellyseerr.yourdomain.com).
  3. Enter your Jellyfin username and password (Jellyseerr authenticates via Jellyfin).

Seerr

  1. Add a new external service of type Seerr.
  2. Enter the URL and your Jellyfin credentials.

Dashboard Integration

Once configured, the Dashboard shows:

  • Jellyseerr Requests carousel with the pending request count and posters.
  • Seerr Requests carousel (if using Seerr).

These carousels can be reordered or hidden from Settings -> Menu Customization -> Dashboard Sections.

Notifications

Enable Jellyseerr/Seerr notifications in Settings -> Notifications to receive alerts when new requests are submitted. The two services are monitored independently and notify on their own channels. See the Notifications documentation for details.

Notes

  • Requests, issues, users, and discover all read live from the connected service.
  • For remote access, use a VPN or reverse proxy. Never expose the service publicly without authentication.
