Two apps, two sets of purchases
JellyWatch is made of two separate apps. Each has its own purchases. They are independent: buying one does not unlock the other.
| App | Purchases |
|---|---|
| JellyWatch Admin (this documentation) | Admin Features, then Watch Pass |
| JellyWatch Player | Premium (optional), Supporter (optional) |
JellyWatch Admin
1. Admin Features
A one-time lifetime purchase for the person who manages the Jellyfin or Emby server. It unlocks the administrative tools: multiple servers, device and user management, notifications, widget, statistics and more. A 7-day free trial is available.
See the Admin Features page for the full list.
2. Watch Pass
A one-time add-on, bought by the admin, that gives the users of the admin's server extra features in JellyWatch Player: requests, request notifications, history, stats and issue reports. The users buy nothing. It requires the lifetime Admin Features purchase first. A free trial does not count.
See the Watch Pass page for details.
Purchase order:
- Buy Admin Features (lifetime). Watch Pass stays locked until you do.
- Buy Watch Pass. It becomes available once Admin Features is active.
Playback in JellyWatch Admin is free and is not part of these purchases.
JellyWatch Player
Premium
An optional one-time purchase bought by the person who watches, on a TV, phone or tablet. It unlocks customisation (Home layout, themes, 4K images, Kids profiles, Home Assistant and more). Playback and browsing are always free.
See Premium for JellyWatch Player.
Supporter
An optional monthly subscription that adds a cosmetic badge. It unlocks nothing.
